| Makati City's SMART program for city youth. . For the fifth year in a row, Makati Aikido Club black belts Troy Nones and Lilet Llaguno are again running the aikido component of this year's SMART (Sports, Music, Arts, and Recreational Training) summer program for Makati youth. SMART is a long-running summer arts-and-culture program that Mayor Junjun Binay instituted when he was still a city councilor. SMART aikido classes are held at 4th Floor, Insular Bakery Building, along P.Burgos St., Makati City.Previous years' SMART programs have typically trained at least 60 Makati youths each summer. This year is expected to exceed those numbers.
