| 2011 May 21 MAC kyu promotion exams; official launch of "Leg Power in Aikido" video 1) MAC Chief Instructor Dam Amaranto Sensei will conduct a promotion exam for various kyu grades on Saturday, 2011 May 21. Exam venue shall be our club dojo at the Makati (Sports) Club. The exams will be conducted before the end of the Saturday class on that day. Saturday class is 1830 - 2000 hrs. Current students who are eligible to take promotion exams are listed on the club bulletin board. Application forms and exam fees must be submitted seven days before exam date. Please confer with Lilet Llaguno or Troy Nones for particulars. 2) MAC shodan Leon Aman will conduct a world premiere showing of his latest training video, Leg Power in Aikido, at the MAC dojo. This eight-minute video, featuring senior instructors of the MAC, calls attention to the importance of lower-body muscle groups in executing aikido movements, and can be a breakthrough area of training for the intermediate aikido student. ************************************************************************************************************* | |
