Sacred Heart Aikido Center Cebu's 5th Anniversary Celebration and Seminar
April 30 – May 2, 2010
The Filipino and overseas aikido community was invited to Sacred Heart Aikido Center Cebu's (SHACC) 5th anniversary celebration, April 30 to May 2, 2010, at the Cebu Midtown Hotel. Featured guest instructor was Motohiro Fukakusa Shihan, 7th dan Aikikai, Chairman and Chief Instructor of the Aikido Association Thailand.
Additional keiko sessions were led by Lucio Alejo Sensei, 5th dan Aikikai (Valensuela Aikido Dojo, Makati), Freddy Khong Sensei, 6th dan Aikikai (Aikido Federation Singapore), Royce Reyes Sensei, 5th dan Aikikai (Filipino Federation of Aikido, Makati), and Maria Lourdes Macapawa Sensei, 5th dan Aikikai (President, Filipino Federation of Aikido, Davao City). Rosso Fernandez Sensei, 6th dan Aikikai (Auckland Aikikai, New Zealand), also led a session. The weekend closed with a dan-grade examination and an anniversary aikido demonstration.
