The Raul A. Rodrigo Memorial Seminar, led by Donovan Waite Sensei (7th dan), was held June 16 and 17, 2012 — the third major cooperative project of Aikido Philippines, FFA, and PAPA for that year.
Donovan Waite is a student of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan. He is head instructor of Aikido of Center City, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is also on the teaching staff of the New York Aikikai in New York City.
The seminar was held in honor of Raul A. Rodrigo, nidan, chief instructor of the Ateneo Aikido Club, who passed away on January 30, 2012.
