Special Classes With Tadashi Komenoi Sensei

October 18, 2012

Tadashi Komenoi Sensei, 6th dan, was the instructor at the Makati Aikido Club from August 1988 to November 1993, having come to the Philippines as an expatriate executive with a Japanese company. After his Philippine posting ended, his company sent him to Sri Lanka as country manager, where he built a major aikido organization and led it until his retirement in 2012 and return to Japan, where he now lives in Tokyo.

Komenoi Sensei came to Manila in October 2012 as a special guest at the Makoto Ito seminar marking the 20th anniversary of Aikido Philippines. He taught a special class at the Makati Aikido Club's Makati Sports Club dojo on Thursday, October 18 — the only session that ultimately took place, after unforeseen developments led to the cancellation of additional sessions originally planned for October 19 and 22.

Come and watch a class.

Simply show up 15 minutes before any scheduled class and introduce yourself to the instructor or to anyone who appears to know his way around. They will take care of you from that point. That is all.
