Annual Aikido Seminar in Cebu City
March 1–2, 2025 — hosted by the Sacred Heart Aikido Center Cebu for its 20th anniversary
With support and encouragement of Aikido Philippines (AP), the Filipino Federation of Aikido (FFA), and the Philippine Aikido Propagation Association (PAPA), the annual aikido seminar for 2025, traditionally led by a Hombu Dojo instructor, was held at City Sports Club Cebu in Cebu City from March 1 to 2, 2025.
The event was hosted by the Sacred Heart Aikido Center Cebu (SHACC) in celebration of its 20th anniversary. SHACC has been a member of FFA since its founding.
2025 also marked the 10th anniversary of the Visayas Aikido Fellowship (VAF), an annual interclub fellowship of Visayas Region aikidoists.
Leading the seminar was Hiroshi Fujimaki Shihan, 7th dan, from Japan Aikikai Hombu Dojo.
The Makati Aikido Club, represented by volunteer members, participated in the 20th anniversary celebration of SHACC and the 10th anniversary of the VAF. Fujimaki Hiroshi Shihan led six seminar sessions, gave a demonstration, and conducted promotion examinations for candidates seeking black belt and higher rankings.
On the first day of the event, His Excellency Consul General Hideaki Matsuo, along with his wife Kanami and dignitaries from the Japanese Embassy in Cebu, attended the celebration, adding to the significance of the gathering.

Come and watch a class.
Simply show up 15 minutes before any scheduled class and introduce yourself to the instructor or to anyone who appears to know his way around. They will take care of you from that point. That is all.
