125th FFA Monthly Interclub Practice

The Filipino Federation of Aikido's 125th monthly interclub practice was held on December 3, 2011 at University of Asia and the Pacific, Ortigas Centre, Pasig City. This session was hosted by Jitsuyo Bugei Aikido Club. Interclub practice, running since September 2000, rotates hosting duties among FFA's member dojos and is open to aikidoists from any organization.

This was the first time the interclub tradition was held at UAP, folded into a martial-arts festival organized by the university's own students — a chance to introduce aikido to a new pool of potential recruits. Because UAP is a socially conservative campus with its own dress code, the announcement carried an explicit reminder to dress appropriately, and the start time was moved 30 minutes earlier than usual to fit the venue's schedule.
