Etsuji Horii Shihan led a seminar in Manila on April 24 and 25, 2014, with a second segment in Davao on April 26 and 27.
Seminar rules asked participants to observe designated photo-op times with the shihan rather than approaching him personally at other times, to refrain from photography or videography during training sessions (reserved for officially tagged photographer-videographers), and to submit yudansha/mudansha booklets to organizing officers rather than directly to the shihan for autographs — all in the interest of considerateness and professionalism toward the visiting teacher.
